Sabine Himmelfarb, Ph.D. - Dr. Himmelfarb is a clinical psychologist with thirty years of professional experience. She is in private practice in Germantown, Maryland and serves as a clinical assistant professor at George Washington University. For the past nine years, she has volunteered for the Greater Washington Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse (JCADA), serving as JCADA’s Vice-President. Her career includes her work as a supervising psychologist at two psychiatric hospitals, CPC/Chestnut Lodge in Rockville, Maryland and Harding Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She also worked at the West Jerusalem Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Israel. Her specialties include relationship problems, anxiety, depression, recovery from trauma, and parenting issues. She is married, the mother of three and grandmother of six. |
