Jo Benson Fogel has been practicing law in Maryland for over 35 years. Her office is in Rockville. For the last 25+ years her primary focus has been on court-related matters involving families and individuals in the Maryland courts. Her clients are primarily Montgomery and Prince George’s County citizens of all ages involved in divorce, guardianship, custody, property distribution, estate planning and will litigation and administration matters. She is also active in the Maryland State and Montgomery County Bar Associations.
Mrs. Fogel has an AV rating with Martindale Hubbell, the national lawyers directory, she is listed in the Martindale Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for Maryland, and she has been designated a Maryland Super Lawyer. She has also been part of the Family Law faculty of the Judicial Institute since 1995. She has served on the committee that oversees the implementation of Md. Rule 6.1 regarding Pro Bono and the lawyers of Maryland since its inception.
