Get Involved

Volunteers and interns play a vital role in our work. We have generous and dedicated community members who donate their professional services to enhance the array of much-needed services we can offer. This includes therapists, a financial planner, attorneys and yoga instructors. We also have volunteers on our committees to help grow and expand a specific area of our work, such as our JCADA 5K Event or prevention. Others give of their time to help staff with projects in the office.

To maintain our commitment to confidentiality, we have strict procedures in place to protect the confidentiality of our clients. As a result, volunteers who are not donating professional services do not work directly with our clients.

It's Not Love® Facilitators

The goal of this unique workshop is to create a safe and open environment for discussion. Facilitators are key to achieving this goal as they guide participants in discussions about the choices they made during the activity and the outcome of their story.

We are looking for someone who:

  • enjoys working with teens;
  • has strong group facilitation skills; and
  • is committed to empowering young people to choose healthy relationships.

Energy and the ability to think on your feet are musts! Those with camp experience in addition to or in lieu of formal facilitation or teaching experience are also encouraged to apply.

The commitment is very flexible. After the training, we send out the schedule of workshops for each semester and ask facilitators to sign up. The most popular days for evening workshops are Sundays and Tuesdays. We do offer a small stipend to facilitators.

#healthyfriendships Facilitators
