JCADA’s Mission

JCADA is committed to providing high-quality services to all residents of the Greater Washington DC community 14 years old & older, without regard to race, national origin, ability, background, faith, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, or immigration status. JCADA services victims and survivors of all types of power-based violence, including victims and survivors of domestic violence (also known as intimate partner violence), dating violence, elder abuse, gender-based violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking.

Clinical

All JCADA clinicians are licensed and have expertise in trauma and the complexities of power-based violence. Services include safety planning, individual counseling, and more.

Victim Advocacy

Through our victim advocacy program, JCADA can assist clients with many other needs that fall outside of traditional legal or clinical support. This includes financial planning, assistance with basic needs, and more.

Crisis

JCADA operates a free and confidential helpline from 9am to 5pm Monday – Thursday and 9am to 3pm Friday: 1-877-88-JCADA. Anyone can call our helpline to access information, support, and receive safety planning for themselves or someone they care about. For additional resources, click here.
