Power-Based Violence Education & Training for the Community

Our Power-Based Violence Education & Training Program is an interactive presentation in which participants consider the dynamics of abusive and unhealthy relationships. Participants will learn to identify warning signs and dynamics of an abusive relationship. Participants will learn about the resources available to survivors; the different ways power-based violence can manifest itself; and ways to support survivors of power-based violence by learning strategies to intervene.

JCADA is also available to speak on panels, in college classrooms and other outreach events that serve the larger community.

This training can be adapted for a variety of audiences including tailored content to meet the needs of your staff, clients and/or community.
