JCADA’s clinical services are free and not time-limited. Individuals can access JCADA’s clinical services at any point in their journey of healing, and see their JCADA clinician for as long as it takes from them to become empowered and live safely. All JCADA clinicians are licensed and have expertise in trauma and the complexities of power-based violence. Services include:

  • safety planning,
  • crisis counseling,
  • education and therapeutic support groups,
  • individual counseling and therapy, and
  • alternative therapy programs (e.g. yoga, art therapy, poetry workshops).

In addition to English, JCADA also employees clinicians who are able to give therapy in Spanish, Hebrew, and ASL. For all other languages, JCADA will arrange the necessary translation services at no cost to the client.

“When you travel by plane – flight attendants provide you with information on what to do in case of an emergency – ‘please put your oxygen mask on first and then help your children’ – without JCADA’s guidance to ensure I was healthy, safe and confident – I could not have helped myself – let alone my daughter! JCADA is and always will be my oxygen mask!”
